These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Capital Car Care website and your engagement of our mobile car detailing services. By using this website, submitting a booking or quote request, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

About Capital Car Care

Capital Car Care (ABN 27 531 791 147) is a mobile car detailing business providing interior, exterior, combined, and maintenance detailing services at customer locations across Canberra and the ACT region.

Our services

We offer a range of detailing packages and maintenance plans as described on our website. Package inclusions and pricing displayed on the website (including through our Instant Quote tool) are indicative and provided in good faith, but final pricing, duration, and availability are confirmed when we accept your booking. We reserve the right to update our pricing and service inclusions at any time; changes will not affect a booking we have already confirmed. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and, unless stated otherwise, may not include GST.

Quotes and bookings

Submitting a booking or quote request through our website is a request only and does not guarantee an appointment. A booking is only confirmed once we contact you (by phone, email, or message) to confirm the date, time, price, and scope of work. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule any booking, including where access requirements (see below) are not met.

Access requirements

To carry out our services, we require reasonable and safe access to your vehicle at the agreed location, together with access to water and power, unless otherwise agreed in advance. If suitable access is not available at the scheduled time, we may need to reschedule or cancel the appointment, and a fee may apply as set out below.

Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows

We understand that plans change. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booking. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable cancellation or no-show fee where insufficient notice is given, or where we attend the agreed location and are unable to access the vehicle or complete the service through no fault of our own. We will always try to work with you to find a suitable alternative time first.

Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing (for example, for maintenance plans invoiced periodically), payment is due on completion of the service. We accept the payment methods we make available to you at the time of booking. Invoices for recurring maintenance plans will be issued in accordance with the agreed schedule.

Vehicle condition, care and liability

You must tell us about any pre-existing damage, mechanical faults, or fragile/aftermarket components (such as damaged upholstery, loose trim, aftermarket electronics, or delicate surfaces) before we begin work. We take reasonable care when detailing your vehicle and use professional-grade products and techniques; however, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or issues that were not disclosed to us and that a reasonably careful detailer could not have been expected to identify in advance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy available to you under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited, at our option, to resupplying the affected service or paying the cost of having the service resupplied.

Photography and marketing

We may take before-and-after photographs or videos of vehicles for quality assurance, and — with your consent — for use in our marketing, website, or social media. We take reasonable care not to include identifying information such as number plates or personal belongings. If you would prefer your vehicle not be photographed for marketing purposes, please let us know before your appointment.

Reviews and testimonials

Reviews and testimonials displayed on our website (including Google reviews) reflect the individual views and experiences of the reviewer and are reproduced in good faith.

Website content and intellectual property

All text, images, logos, and other content on this website are owned by or licensed to Capital Car Care and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, unless otherwise indicated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

Acceptable use of this website

You agree not to misuse this website, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access to it or any connected systems, submitting false or misleading information, or using the website for any unlawful purpose.

Third-party links and services

Our website contains links to third-party platforms (such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Google Maps/Reviews) that we do not control and are not responsible for. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to the "Vehicle condition, care and liability" section above, Capital Car Care will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our services.

You agree to indemnify Capital Car Care against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of our website or services, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
